Meet Martha Swirzinski, M.A.

martha_swirzinskiMartha has over 15 years of experience working with children in the field of movement. With a Bachelor's degree from Clemson University in the field of Therapeutic Recreation, and a Master's degree from the University of Maryland in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, Martha owns and operates a Movement Education Company. She is dedicated to providing all teachers the skills and knowledge necessary in finding fun and innovative ways of integrating movement into all areas of learning.

Ms. Swirzinski is a renowned workshop facilitator, assesses and designs movement curriculum for preschools and consults with teachers, preschools and daycare centers interested in integrating movement into their curriculum.

Martha is the author of the Movement and More series of books for young children.

She is currently a Movement Education teacher in a Virginia preschool. As a Certified Personal Trainer for over 12 years, she works with clients of all ages and abilities. Martha is a wife and mother of two daughters, Hannah and Ava.
